1.Compliance (noun)=अनुरूपता/अनुपालन /समर्पण 
Meaning/अर्थ: the action or fact of complying with a wish or command.
Example/उदाहरण: Evidently, the requirement for the ombudsman to make public the periodic reports on compliance will exert pressure on States to meet their obligations.


2.Frivolous (adjective)=गंभीरता से विचार न करने वाला/हल्का बेहूदा
Meaning/अर्थ: not having any serious purpose or value.
Example/उदाहरण: In an encouraging sign, the Supreme Court has ruled against patent extensions on frivolous grounds, putting the generic drugs industry, so crucial 
for HIV treatment, on a firm footing.

3.Folly (noun)=मुर्खता
Meaning/अर्थ: lack of good sense; foolishness.
Example/उदाहरण: The HIV and AIDS Bill may not be the answer to every need, but it would be a folly not to see its potential to make further gains. 

4.Irrevocable (adjective)=अपरिवर्तनीय/अटल
Meaning/अर्थ: not able to be changed, reversed, or recovered; final.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: irreversible, unrectifiable, irremediable, irreparable, unrepairable, 
beyond repair;
Example/उदाहरण: Anyone scanning the headlines for the past month would conclude that India is in the throes of irrevocable human-wildlife conflict. 

5.Snarl (verb)=गुर्राना/कर्कश स्वर में बोलना 
Meaning/अर्थ: (of an animal such as a dog) make an aggressive growl with bared teeth.
Example/उदाहरण: Rather than only focussing on a wild, snarling animal, a greater understanding of crowd dynamics is also called for.

6.Vicinity (noun)=अडोस-पड़ोस/इलाका
Meaning/अर्थ: the area near or surrounding a particular place.
synonyms/पर्यायवाची: surrounding district, surrounding area, neighbourhood, locality, locale, local area, area, district, region, quarter, sector, territory, domain, place
Example/उदाहरण: The fact that it is dangerous to be in the vicinity of a panicked leopard is belied only by the absurdity of the fact that most wanted to see the animal and take pictures.

7.Clamour (verb)=चिल्लाना/शोर मचाना/जोरदार मांग करना
Meaning/अर्थ: (of a group of people) shout loudly and insistently.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची:yell, shout loudly, bay, scream, shriek, roar
Example/उदाहरण: "the surging crowds clamoured for attention"
Example/उदाहरण: Other mobs that have gathered around wildlife have clamoured for instant ‘justice’, gratification or resolution — in the form of killing the animal, beheading it, or parading it after its death. 

8.Undulate (verb)=लहराना/हिलोर/लहराता हुआ/तरंगित करना
Meaning/अर्थ: move with a smooth wave-like motion.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: rise and fall, surge, wave, billow, roll, swell, ripple, heave, flow, wind, swing, whirl, wobble, oscillate
Example/उदाहरण: "her body undulated to the thumping rhythm of the music"
Example/उदाहरण: The forest department was caught in a human conflict situation — a crowd of people did not allow officials to do their difficult job of catching the tiger. The terrain was undulating. 

9.Gruesome (adjective)=कुरूप/वीभत्स
Meaning/अर्थ: causing repulsion or horror; grisly.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: grisly, ghastly, frightful, horrid, horrifying, fearful, hideous, 
macabre, spine-chilling, 
Example/उदाहरण: "the most gruesome murder"
Example/उदाहरण: The results were gruesome — the tiger was hit repeatedly by the JCB, and crushed to death, all part of its ‘rescue’. 

10.Exacerbate (verb)=समस्या/बिगाड़ देना/नकारात्मक
Meaning/अर्थ: make (a problem, bad situation, or negative feeling) worse.
Synonyms/पर्यायवाची: aggravate, make worse, worsen, inflame, compound; 
Example/उदाहरण: "the exorbitant cost of land in urban areas only exacerbated the problem"
Example/उदाहरण: Many cases of conflict or aggression towards animals are exacerbated by carelessness and existing human-human conflict or tensions.
